Peanut Sesame Brittle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 cup white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ¼ cup white granulated sugar

Directions

1. Lightly toast the peanuts and sesame seeds in a pan over low heat (separately).

2. Transfer toasted peanuts into the chopping bowl of the Intermix. Blitz for 3-5 seconds until the peanuts have been chopped into small pieces.

3. Make the caramel by melting the sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Keep a close eye on it to ensure it doesn’t burn.

4. Remove from heat and stir in the peanuts and sesame seeds immediately.

5. On a piece of parchment paper (placed over a cutting board), pour the mixture and place another sheet of paper on top. Roll and mould into a block that is 1 inch thick.

6. Cut into small bit size pieces immediately.

7. Let it cool and harden before serving.

8. Enjoy!
