Mother's Day Recipe: Affogato

Affogato coffee with ice cream

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso (2 espresso capsules) – recommend intensity level 11 or 12
  • 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream – (refer to Chefwave Vamilla Almond Milk Ice Cream Recipe)

Directions

  1. Chill small shallow bowl or glass in freezer until frosty and cold to the touch.
  2. Make 2 espresso shots in the Kava using one capsule for each shot.
  3. Scoop in 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the cold bowl.
  4. Slowly pour the hot espresso in a thin stream directly over the ice cream, ensure to drape the entire surface with an even layer of coffee.
  5. Serve chilled, enjoy!
