Vegan Almond Milk Eggnog Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoons almonds
  • 1 ½ cup thick coconut milk (canned)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon maple syrup or agave nectar (2 tablespoons if you prefer it sweeter)
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 ¾ tablespoons bourbon (optional)

Directions

  1. Add the almond into the ChefWave Milkmade to make fresh almond milk. Select the Almond program and 20 oz. volume setting.
  2. Mix the freshly made hot almond milk, coconut milk, maple syrup/agave nectar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg into a blender.
  3. Blend until well combined.
  4. Strain through a mesh strainer over a bowl to remove excess froth.
  5. Stir in bourbon.
  6. Garnish with more nutmeg.
