Sesame Salmon with Wasabi Mayo

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2-pound salmon fillet
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi paste
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons toasted white sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Fish program (400 deg F for 15 minutes)
  2. Line the mesh tray with aluminum foil and drizzle a generous amount of sesame oil and coconut oil. Tilt back and forth until the tray is coated.
  3. Place the salmon fillet in the tray (skin facing up if using a fillet with the skin) and brush with the remaining sesame oil.
  4. Use the Fish program on the Magma (400 deg F for 15 minutes). The fish should be easy to flake with a fork.
  5. Whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice and wasabi.
  6. Garnish the salmon fillet with the chopped green onions and serve with the wasabi mayo.
