Peppermint Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk (2% or whole)
  • ½ cup sugar (use 2/3 cup if you prefer it sweeter)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peppermint candies (crushed)

Directions

  1. Freeze the churning bowl in the freezer overnight.
  2. Mix milk, sugar, salt, heavy cream, vanilla and peppermint in a bowl.
  3. Add the mixture into the ChefWave Elado and set to churn for 25 mins.
  4. After 20 mins, pause the Elado and add in the chocolate chip and crushed peppermint candies. Resume churning for the remaining 5 mins.
  5. Transfer the churned ice cream into a freezer-safe container.
  6. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours before serving.
  7. Enjoy!
