Peel the potatoes and cut them lengthways. Place them in a bowl of water to soak.
Remove the potatoes from the water and put them in a pot of boiling water. Boil the potatoes for 3 minutes. Drain and cool.
Dry with a paper towel.
Place the potatoes into the air fryer basket, and place the basket into the air fryer. Cook on 450℉ for 20-30 minutes. (Cook 1lb. of potatoes for 25 minutes. For frozen potatoes, cook for an extra 5 minutes.)
When the fries are golden brown, remove them for the basket. Sprinkle them with the salt and serve with ketchup or honey mustard.
